BURIED TERRORS is the result of horror author Graham Masterton meeting psychologist Karolina Mogielska purely by chance and discovering that they both had a strong interest in Slavic mythology and scary stories and that their minds thought amazingly alike.

Graham Masterton‘s biography:
Graham Masterton is mainly recognised for his horror novels but he has also been a prolific writer of thrillers, disaster novels and historical epics, as well as sex instruction books. He became a newspaper reporter at the age of 17 and was appointed editor of Penthouse magazine at only 24. His first horror novel The Manitou was filmed with Tony Curtis playing the lead. Graham also turned his hand to crime novels with White Bones, set in Ireland, and this has been followed by thirteen more novels featuring Detective Superintendent Katie Maguire, the latest of which is Pay Back The Devil. In 2019 Graham was given a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Horror Writers Association. Ten years ago he established an annual prize for short stories written by inmates in Polish prisons. Graham’s latest horror novel in the series featuring Det Sgt Jamila Patel and Det Jerry Pardoe is House of Flies.
Karolina Mogielska‘s biography:
Karolina Mogielska is a Polish writer who lives in the south of Poland, in Nysa city. As a clinical psychologist with ten years experience, she undertook to co-operate with the British writer Graham Masterton to write a novel on domestic abuse as a way of helping people trapped in such situations. To develop her fiction-writing experience, they started to create short horror stories together, and have now published more than twenty stories and chapbooks. Apart from that, Karolina as a psychologist has published articles on the maladjustment of children and teenagers in Polish scientific magazines. She was inspired to write about graveyards because her grandfather was a gravedigger who founded a cemetery in the rural village of Wegryzn, in Świętokrzyskie, which is still in use today.
